The centerpiece of the event will be the "Redwood Kinekt Experience," a virtual experience that allows guests to turn into a Redwood Tree in real time through interactive motion sensor technology. The event will culminate with these images projected onto the UT Tower during an evening projection show. In addition to the Redwood Kinekt Experience and Projection Show, guests will have the opportunity to learn more about our 411 national parks by meeting with NPS rangers and using other interactive experiences, including the "Find Your Park Machine." This digital way finder sign and compass will show you the direction and distance of every national park in the United States from your exact position.
The event will be open to the public from 11:30 AM - 11:30 PM on the plaza in front of the UT Tower. Official remarks are scheduled for 8:30 PM with a special appearance from Andy Roddick, former world No. 1 ATP player. A ground-breaking projection show will begin at 8:45 PM.
