National Park Ambassadors

They maintain habitats, educate visitors, and preserve history. They're rangers, museum curators, engineers, volunteers, landscape architects, and fire fighters. They're the treasured stewards of our national parks. They're National Park Ambassadors.

Behind every national park is a team of ordinary people who are dedicated to maintaining the extraordinary. They may not wear capes, but they're heroes in our book. Meet the individuals who protect our parks and send thanks to an NPS employee or volunteer who made your last visit extra special.

Thank you, All National Park Ambassadors.Dear Park Ambassadors, I was driving across the country from Texas to Washington by myself twice a year for 6 years doe my job. I always made my trip to include anywhere from 3 - 6 national parks as part of my journey. In the past 6 years I have been honored to visit over 20 parks. The work that you do to sustain these precious lands and the education that you provide to each of us visitors can not be appreciated enough. I never entered a park without being greeted by a friendly, warm ambassador who willingly answered all my questions, provided information or shared a story about that park. It made my adventures that much more meaningful. We are honored that you have taken on the task of protecting these valuable lands and sharing your love with each of us. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to the preservation of our natural treasures.
