Yosemite Rangers

Sorry I don't recall the rangers' names ( there were two of them), but I was in Yosemite in August 2016 when I saw a notice of a ranger led hike to the top of Sentinel Dome, to watch the sunset over El Capitan at the exact same time of the full moonrise in the opposite direction over Gray's Peak. I don't know if this sort of thing is in the job description, but I thought it was awesome that they took the time to educate themselves about this very rare occurrence, and lead a bunch of us up there to talk about it and answer a lot of other questions about the park and it's landmarks. Yosemite is ALWAYS spectacular, but this was a very special and unique thing to see, and something I'll never forget. Thanks!
