National parks across the country will be celebrating Latino Conservation Week 2016 from July 16 to July 24, inviting all people – especially the Latino community – to create and nourish personal connections to your public lands. These events are designed to encourage new opportunities for Latinos to explore the countless ways you can enjoy your national parks, and ultimately be inspired to become the next generation of environmental stewards.
This is the third year the Hispanic Access Foundation has sponsored this unique nationwide event, engaging partners in the conservation world, as well as Latino community leaders and organizations to help break down barriers to the community’s access to public lands.
