In honor of the #FindYourPark/#EncuentraTuParque movement, we’re joining forces with the Hispanic Access Foundation to invite all people to join us in celebrating the National Park Service Centennial and Latino Conservation Week by demonstrating your passion for the outdoors and visiting a national park near you.

National parks across the country will be celebrating Latino Conservation Week 2016 from July 16 to July 24, inviting all people – especially the Latino community – to create and nourish personal connections to your public lands. These events are designed to encourage new opportunities for Latinos to explore the countless ways you can enjoy your national parks, and ultimately be inspired to become the next generation of environmental stewards.

This is the third year the Hispanic Access Foundation has sponsored this unique nationwide event, engaging partners in the conservation world, as well as Latino community leaders and organizations to help break down barriers to the community’s access to public lands.

Take a look through the 21 events highlighted below that you can enjoy during Latino Conservation Week in a national park. For a full listing of the Latino Conservation Week activities (including those beyond national parks), check out the events page here.

Need more inspiration on how you can find your park and discover your own connection to these incredible places? We’ve got 99 more ways you can experience a park near you. You can also join the conversation online and share your favorite park memories by using #FindYourPark, #EncuentraTuParque, #LatinoConservationWeek, and #LCW2016.

We hope to see you out on the trails!
