Found this while stuck inside social distancing and I've been listening on repeat while I work. Any chance you have more audio for us to enjoy while we can't travel to the parks?

Thank you for the link to all the soundscapes for RMNP! I created a list for my husband and I as we shelter in place and as he battles cancer during this health crisis as well. I am curious if there are other National Parks with compilations like this on their site? I don't see it listed for BIBE and GCNP (the other two NPs we have had the opportunity to visit). Thank you SO much for providing this.

In early March, in Olympic National Park, in a heavy snow fall, hiking with snow shows through deep snow in the middle of the night with a friend, we had abandoned our attempt to climb Mt. Olympus to get help to another climber who had been swept away in an avalanche. (He turned out to be uninjured.) We stopped to rest and heard the most amazing sound. We stood still, turned off our head lamps and heard the sound of the snow landing on the surface and the sound of our own hearts beating. It was the most intense silence I’ve ever “heard.”

Could you please create a podcast or website dedicated solely to the sounds of every natural park during each season? A huge undertaking but would be a beautiful thing. If possible include descriptions of what can be heard (animals, insects, natural elements).🙏🏼

Amazing! A serious accident has prevented me recently from visiting and enjoying nature’s best. My gratitude for bringing it to me! (Loud Sigh...) Music to my ears and peace for my soul.

My husband & I just ate our Easter dinner listening to several nature sound tracks. The relaxing and beautiful sounds transported us. I will be coming back to hear more ! Loved this, thank-you NPS.

This recording has been such a gift. I've listened to it so often when I needed to recenter and calm myself because of anxiety due to the political state of our country and Covid 19.

Happy National Relaxation Day! Thank you for those sounds of nature. They broke the deafening silence of my first foray into full time RVlife, which I’m currently spending at Mt. Greylock Campground Park.

This audio is so peaceful and beautiful. I would love for you to consider making this available on your national parks app that can be used for sleep and relaxation. I know people would be glad to pay a fee to download these wonderful sounds.

This soundscape is great. I wish there was one for each park or different seasons in the same park. However, I prefer the sound-only soundscapes to the ones with accompanying videos. Because the human visual attention span is so short there is a tendency to keep the scenes very short (a few seconds) before the next cut/clip. Human audio attention span is much longer. You can comfortably listen to an immersive soundscape for 10-15 minutes before your ear starts to get bored.

I LOVE this! I often take recordings of the places I visit to “relive” the memory. Close your eyes and picture an alpine lake with fog rolling across it, early in the morning…perfect If I could also bottle the smell I would. I heard elk, wolves?, crow, chipmunk?, and things I didn’t recognize. Loved this, thank you for sharing. I’m guessing the sounds were a melange of animals mixed into the recording?
