My wife and I are teachers and we have driven west of the Mississippi River on 8 different summer vacations. We have hiked and watched sunsets in Arches, Canyonlands, Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountain, Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, Yosemite, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Kings Canyon, Joshua Tree, Sequoia, Great Basin, Glacier, Great Sand Dune, Zion, Capitol Reef, Devil's Tower, Grand-Staircase Escalante, Colorado National Monument, Petrified Forest, Saguaro, Mesa Verde, Congaree in South Carolina, Shenandoah in Virginia, Great Smoky Mountains near our home, and Everglades in Florida. Many of our pictures have been posted to this website. I feel that means we are very qualified to state how perfectly managed, clean and peaceful our national parks have been. In fact, we would like to say "THANK YOU!" to ALL of the National park service employees for always making our visits so safe, memorable and relaxing.
