Rebecca was working in the Ranger Station in the basement of the Sunrise Lodge when I wandered in on my first visit to MRNP. I don't recall what all we discussed but I had a few questions about the park which segued into other parks we had visited and her time wildland fire fighting. She patiently answered my questions while tiding up the station and working on Wonderland hiker caches (and consequently answering additional questions that arose from my curiosity on those). I really enjoyed our conversation and the hospitality she offered as a visitor to her park. This experience was a few years ago now but it has stuck with me, as have so many of the experiences I had in our national parks.
