Park Ambassadors

My family would like to say thank you for the work you do to keep our parks clean and open for personal use. We travel frequently and make a point to see whatever parks we are near, and we especially take frequent trips to the parks close to our home. Indian Springs healing waters nourishes my family deeply and we are so thankful to have access to harvesting the spring water. It is our way of connecting more deeply with nature and with each other. So, on behalf of our mental health and connection :) , THANK YOU!

National Park Employees

My wife and I are teachers and we have driven west of the Mississippi River on 8 different summer vacations. We have hiked and watched sunsets in Arches, Canyonlands, Grand Canyon, Rocky Mountain, Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, Yosemite, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Kings Canyon, Joshua Tree, Sequoia, Great Basin, Glacier, Great Sand Dune, Zion, Capitol Reef, Devil's Tower, Grand-Staircase Escalante, Colorado National Monument, Petrified Forest, Saguaro, Mesa Verde, Congaree in South Carolina, Shenandoah in Virginia, Great Smoky Mountains near our home, and Everglades in Florida.

All Ambassadors

We camp on Cumberland for 1 week every summer. Our son, who just turned 11, looks forward to this trip above any other trip we make (granted, we did introduce him to Yellowstone this year so he has another NP favorite). Most of the week it is me and our son so the park rangers are a tremendous help and resource for us. Most of all, they are there when/if we need them and they do so much for everyone and to protect our beautiful seashore and national parks. We would be more than happy if our son chooses to be a park ranger one day and follow in the footsteps of those we admire so much.

Park Rangers

My husband and I have visited a number of National Parks and we typically get out best tips and suggestions from the rangers we meet there. Thank you so much for helping to keep our National Parks beautiful and for helping the rest of us to appreciate them.

Grand Canyon Ambassadors

Rangers who helped getting me permits to hike rim to rim from the south rim. We drove around to the south rim and hiked north. Was not able to hike from Phantom ranch to the top in one day so slept on a space blanket at Cottonwood one night. Oh the stars, how wondrous!!!

It does not matter which location you are helping. It matters that you are helping. Please continue all the excellent work that is done everyday at every location. It is greatly appreciated by so many. THANK YOU and THANK YOU ALL

Known simply as 'M.L.' by his family, it was in these surroundings of home, church and neighborhood that Martin Luther King, Jr. experienced his childhood.
