All Rangers

To all the rangers in 2014 that were giving ranger talks.. I took my 3 grandsons to Yellowstone and the youngest, age 4 at the time, LOVED the ranger talks. He soaked that stuff in and at age 16 today still remembers them. The talks made a great impression on him and everyone was so awesome and deal with the boys questions, non stop. You do make a difference, even if you don't see the outcome!

Entire crew

Thanks to all the great team members at the park for your hard work and dedication to making the Indiana Dunes one of the best and most popular parks in the country. I am so proud to be so close and have taken so many adventures there myself. Rock on!

The Whole Team

Thank you to everyone who made our rainy and exciting early spring trip to Muir Woods absolutely breathtaking last May! With a slight increase in some free/travel time, we recently began cultivating a love for our Nation's wonder National Parks and have been absolutely astounded at the friendliness, insightfulness, and enthusiasm that all of the NPS Rangers, Ambassadors, and other NPS employees have demonstrated towards us during these early months of many adventures to come!

All rangers at so many parks

In the odd numbered years, I have taken my grandchildren on a "Grand Adventure." I pack up my car, gather the kids, and off we go to visit our National Parks and some state parks. We hike some trails, learn what we can about the various parks, and get junior ranger badges. We have an awesome time as we have the joy of the outdoor world we all love, the time with cousins (and grandma), and learn how we can be better stewards of these places. Thank you for all that you do for our visits and for sharing your knowledge and time with us.

All park rangers, ambassadors, support staff, and volunteers

You all put in the hard work, dedication, enthusiasm, long hours, hot/cold days, and uphold your promise to share this beautiful land with all people of the world. Thank you for your continued service, it makes a difference!! People are able to find magic, amazement, paths less taken, peace, serenity, hope, challenges, adventure, and so much more through the work you put in! Thank you again, for the continued dedication towards preserving our nations most scenic parts!

To all the Parks staff

I recently completed a two-month/6,600 mile road trip from Indiana to several of our magnificent National Parks (Wind Cave, Badlands, Theodore Roosevelt, Glacier, Grand Teton, and Great Sand Dunes). There were lots of other stops along the way (big thumbs up to Custer State Park, absolutely brilliant) and even a trip to Grasslands NP in Saskatchewan and Waterton Peace Park. America, the beautiful, indeed! Our National Park employees were *always* kind and attentive. Sorry--can't call out anyone in particular but everyone with whom I made contact was courteous and informed.

You. Yes, you!

Dear Whoever You Are, Thank you for everything you do, your dedication to the national park service, and your resilience. I love you! And I hope you feel love and appreciation even on the bad days. Xoxoxox Sarah

Ambassadors at many parks

We've been to all but 3 over the past several decades and my comments apply to all really. I wish I had the names of the Ambassadors we've encountered, they should be recognized! They been unfailingly kind and educational. And then there are all those fine ambassadors we have not had the pleasure of meeting - but especially those behind the scenes folks who keep our trails in good shape and parks clean. Thank you SO much!
