Ambassadors at many parks

We've been to all but 3 over the past several decades and my comments apply to all really. I wish I had the names of the Ambassadors we've encountered, they should be recognized! They been unfailingly kind and educational. And then there are all those fine ambassadors we have not had the pleasure of meeting - but especially those behind the scenes folks who keep our trails in good shape and parks clean. Thank you SO much!

all park staff & volunteers

Thank you to all who make our national parks thrive. I frequent parks/monuments/historic sites quite often - I experienced them first thru my parents and passed along my passion for them to my children. My 40 yr old son has been filling his park passport(s) since he was 12. We have a reverence for our national park system and enjoy all flavors of it throughout the year and throughout our spectacular country - it is a treasure worthy of saving & experiencing, which could not happen without all of you - a huge hug to you for your passion, hard work, and love for our national parks.

Peggy Lovell Ford

Peggy! Thank you again for rescuing Ron and I from Mowich Lake Road after we abandoned the Wonderland Trail because we just weren’t prepared for the snow :) You are remembered for your kindness! We’ll be back and better prepared to complete the whole route next time!!

All of the Ambassadors at Hardin Ridge

We stayed at the Hoosier National Forest, Hardin Ridge campground near Monroe Lake, Indiana for 3 nights in September 2021. The staff there was friendly, courteous and very informative about the forest and the area in general. Our stay was pleasant and we had absolutely no issues. Kudos out to the staff at all of our wonderful National Parks, Forests and Monuments. They work hard to help make the park visit an absolute top notch experience. Looking forward to visiting some western parks and monuments in 2022!

All Park Rangers

We have been fortunate to visit a number of our National Parks from Mt. Rainier to the National Seashore in Massachusetts. The many Ambassadors that we have talked with have always been very informative with knowledge of the park as well as help in knowing what trail best fits our abilities. Our love of our parks motivates us to see more! Thank you for all you provide and we hope others can experience the beauty and grandeur that they have.

All NPS Employees

To ALL NPS Employees in. ALL of our parks, THANK YOU for your selfless service -- you continue to be, along with our armed forces personnel, the heart and soul of our federal government. This summer will have me checking off my final five NPS sites in the lower 48, and raising my total to 400 sites in the past decade. And at EVERY location, the efforts of all NPS personnel have been inspirational and deeply appreciated!

Sara Lisac
