Thank you for all you do to protect and educate about Rock Creek Park! I loved Mornings on horseback about Teddy Roosevelt and Seward setting the land aside for generations like us!
I love forward to volunteering with Ranger James every kickball season. He is funny, thoughtful, and passionate about our parks and veterans. He's served the country in many ways and I'm grateful for his dedication to helping others learn to care for our shared spaces and history.
Appreciate all the park rangers with whom I have interacted over the years - from programs at Kitty Hawk to star gazing in the Rockies to wilderness insights in Virginia, I have never failed to be impressed by your knowledge, care and ability to spark interest in visitors of all ages. Thanks to all for all you do to connect visitors with our precious national parks!
I didn't write down his name, unfortunately, but about 2 weeks ago I happened to stop by the new Eisenhower memorial in DC on my way to the Native American Museum. There was a Park Ranger there and I was going to ask a few questions but before I could, he came to me with a smile and asked if he could answer any questions, etc. He told me about the memorial and we ended up chatting about World War II for almost half an hour. I enjoyed the memorial much more just because he was so friendly and informative. Blessings on him and well done!
Big thanks to the rangers working at the Washington Monument! You were all so friendly and helpful to not only those who had reservations to ride to the top of the monument, but those trickling by with questions about the Mall and making reservations for the monument. You were all very knowledgeable and lovely!
Located across from the Smithsonian National Air and Space museum and nestled among many of the federal agencies that have roots in the Eisenhower administration, this memorial honors Dwight D.
Thank you all for being so kind and knowledgable, and for protecting our parks!
Thank you for being a shining oasis in the middle of DC! Even as so little of my daily life looks as it did a year ago, I'm grateful that I can continue to enjoy biking/running on the recently resurfaced Beach Drive, especially with the continued closures.
Thank you for making my trip to Joshua Tree so special!
Thank you so much to all the rangers who make every park visit feel special! I always check to see if there's a ranger program happening whenever I visit a park, because they're the absolute best way to explore the park.
