After many years and many parks, I recently returned to Shenandoah, my very first National Park. Thank you to all the Shenandoah N.P. Rangers for all you do! From the Rangers who taught me about the park on my first visit, to the Rangers on my current trip, thank you for the directions, suggestions, leading hikes, educational talks, and magical star parties. It is because of you that I now know which plant has a witch hat, about opossum superpowers, what to do when encountering a black bear, and which star is truly the brightest star in the night sky.
