Park Ranger

I'm grateful for the minds that created Vogageurs and for the people like you who keep the Park a welcoming and invaluable space to explore. I follow the Voyageurs Wolf Project on social media, a collaboration between the National Park and North Michigan University. Not only have I learned much about our wolves, but about the terrain and environment in this area. Keep up the good work to maintain the wildness of this northern Minnesota Treasure!

Grand Teton Ambassador

We don’t remember the rangers name but he was so excited to talk to my daughter about the activity book she did for her junior ranger badge!! It was great to see his enthusiasm!! We visited 3 national parks this past summer and they were all great! Thank you for taking such great care of our national parks. They are so beautiful!!

Staff and Rangers

Hello rangers and park staff, I want to reach out to let you know how grateful I am for you all! You take such great care and pride in the park and all the beauty it has to offer. You all work hard to keep everyone safe, and have an experience that one will always remember. I know this past summer was busy and probably one of the more stressful summers, and I wanted to let you know, as a person that enjoys the park every year (at different times throughout the year) you are always helpful, happy, and taking care of a jewel.

Neil Smarjesse

Thank you Neil for the way you engage with the volunteers who help support the work at the park. Each time I show up for my volunteer shift you are quick to welcome everyone by name and actively seek suggestions from the group about potential projects. It feels like a true partnership.

All Park Ambassadors

I just finished a 5 week road trip visiting several National Parks. I want to express my appreciation to all those who continue to work to maintain these national wonders and encourage and educate the rest of us as to their value. I listed Yellowstone above but I found the same enthusiasm, knowledge, professionalism, and friendly at all the parks I visited: Theodore Roosevelt, Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Badlands, Devils Tower (Bear Lodge). I especially appreciated the acknowledgment of our Native Nations in the development, maintenance, and ownership of these areas.
