I don't know the name of the Ranger who was so kind to me, but I appreciate the assistance I received. We live about five miles from the mainland side of Acadia. One afternoon we were showing visitors the beauty of Schoodic Point when I found I had gotten myself into a pickle. I wear braces on my legs and had sent my friends out over the rocks to explore. Meanwhile, I found that I could go neither up nor down the small set of steps to the car park, I was literally stuck in the middle. A kindly Ranger saw my predicament and with good humor and a strong arm came to my rescue. We had a good laugh and I am ever grateful. Thank you for all you do to keep us safe and to keep our park so beautiful.
