I don’t know a name, but I certainly appreciated and I enjoyed very much my trip up Cadillac Mountain Road this summer. Getting my name on the list was a problem and a challenge and climbing a lot of steps with a cane. However, it was worth every bit of it, and I and my friends truly enjoyed the view from the top. I sent the pictures I took to several friends, and also my sister, who commented “oh, the porcupines are still there!“ She used to go camping in Acadia with our uncle, aunt, and two cousins back in probably the 1950s, and she has such fond memories of those trips and visits. My son remembered when he and his dad and I would drive to the top of Acadia and enjoy the view and other areas of Acadia. He also spent a whole summer working in Bar Harbor sometime in his college years around 1980, and spent most of his free time in Acadia. I went once with my brother about 15 years ago, and we enjoyed a picnic on the side of the mountain. So many wonderful memories, and I thank all of the Rangers, who makes that place so good for people to visit!
