My husband and I are trying to do all the national park units. Have been at it for about 30 years....we just got back from North Dakota- everywhere we go, we always find such interesting and giving rangers and ambassadors- we are having such a good time exploring our country!
To all our fabulous Park Rangers and other team members, thanks for all you do to keep our parks, monuments, and other designated lands safe and open to all who arrive at your doors and gates. Please know you are appreciated and enhance every visit to a national holding. From Alaska to Florida and everywhere between, all my visits would have been impossible without you.
You do your job with such passion and dedication. Rangers like you work for the National Park Service because of your love for the world of nature and your desire to protect our natural resources. Your service is invaluable. You do not receive the praise or respect which you deserve.
I would like to all park rangers and all that work to keep the parks working and safe. Your knowledge and protection of all areas of the park are appreciated. The Native American Indians treasure our land too and thanks to those park rangers who I am sure have special stories to tell of their beliefs. Thanks to all for your protection of our parks. Pocahontas State Park has many wonderful sites and events planned for the public.
I worked with a young girl who was a park ranger and a nurse. I was fascinated by her experiences and her passion for this job. I so appreciate your care of our parks, protection of the animals and trees and the beauty that so many enjoy. The history and all that the environment gives you share with us. \Can not imagine the wealth of knowledge you have. Thank you for protecting these parks whether by fires, people, or by nature. Take care and be safe.
We took a tour or walk with the ranger after lunch there one day. Very impressed with the knowledge, depth of detail, and genuine love and care for land and its history past and present. I wish we could spend more time in the parks. We got our lifetime pass at the Grand Canyon many years ago. The same type of caring personality was evident in both events.
Thank you for caring and help saving life's most beautiful resource our parks!! You're the best!
Thanks to all of the park rangers, members, and volunteers for protecting our parks and natural resources, and preserving them for our children and their children to enjoy.
Every ranger and ambassador we encountered at the Elkmont campground in August 2021 deserves our gratitude, but I would like to point out one in particular, whose name I unfortunately did not catch when he dropped by our site to unlock our electric box for medical use. We arrived in the middle of a monsoon, and this ranger allowed us to pitch our tent just outside the tent pad because the pad had flooded and was completely unusable.
Always in great spirits, informative and kind to all the Volunteers, exceptional attitude, helpful to patrons especially during the pandemic.
