I am 67, and many years ago my father took our family camping across this beautiful country when I was 13. We visited the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone securing a love for the earth and the planet, a love I have passed on to my daughters and now my grandchildren. I am so deeply grateful to every one of you who every day to keep our park system open and free.
I spent the summer after college working in the Tetons at the Jackson Hole resort. Later my mother in her 60s did the same thing.
The rangers were kind special people who made everything more enjoyable.
Thank you for serving.
