Thank you to ALL of the Park Ambassadors who care for our nation's parks! You are all treasures!
Thank you for the information. You are happily sitting out all day waiting to tell anyone who passes by a story. Made my day that much better!!!
We met a wonderful ranger this summer while watching Elk by Moose Lake . As we told him about a bear encounter we had the prior day near the Rockefeller Preserve Center he told us all about the famous Queen 399 . I was fascinated by all his stories of her and visited the Tom Mangelsen gallery in Jackson before we left . I quickly became obsessed with 399 and really all the grizzly population in the Yellowstone /Teton area and brought all this knowledge home with me to educate my grandchildren who are avid hikers and outdoorsmen already .
Our guided tour through Mesa Verde past and present was so interesting and spectacular. The ambassadors there rocked!
Thank you dearly to all the NPS Rangers and Staff who keep our nationās treasures beautiful and safe! You all represent the best of our country.
I just want to say thank you very, very much to the fabulous park ranger at the Canyon Rim Visitor Center. Sadly, I didn't catch her name, but she was super nice, very helpful and we had a great conversation!
Thank you to the amazing shuttle drivers at Zion! I was very nervous about relying on shuttle service throughout the park, but it was great! Every driver we had was super friendly and knowledgeable, giving us info as we drove from spot to spot. Thank you for greeting us with kindness and sharing your knowledge of such a special place, you truly keep the park running!
After many years and many parks, I recently returned to Shenandoah, my very first National Park. Thank you to all the Shenandoah N.P. Rangers for all you do! From the Rangers who taught me about the park on my first visit, to the Rangers on my current trip, thank you for the directions, suggestions, leading hikes, educational talks, and magical star parties. It is because of you that I now know which plant has a witch hat, about opossum superpowers, what to do when encountering a black bear, and which star is truly the brightest star in the night sky. Thank you!
I appreciate all the work that the Park Service and it's ambassadors do to maintain the Sandy Hook area. It's used by many people from NJ and NY, and it's one of my favorite places to visit. I hope the efforts of the Park Service to maintain and repair the buildings in the Fort Hancock continues. Thank you for all that you do!
We visited this park (North Rim) in October 2018, just after the visitor's center closed. When we returned home, I wrote to ask for brochures from the park, since I collect and save all the brochures from parks we visit. The rangers very kindly sent me what I asked for. Thank you again.
