National Park Ambassadors

They maintain habitats, educate visitors, and preserve history. They're rangers, museum curators, engineers, volunteers, landscape architects, and fire fighters. They're the treasured stewards of our national parks. They're National Park Ambassadors.

Behind every national park is a team of ordinary people who are dedicated to maintaining the extraordinary. They may not wear capes, but they're heroes in our book. Meet the individuals who protect our parks and send thanks to an NPS employee or volunteer who made your last visit extra special.

Thank you, Unknown .To the gentleman on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 3:39pm who helped a hysterical crying red head, thank you. Your kindness and help was not overlooked and in my absolute hysteria of missing an opportunity, you showed absolute and genuine kindness and concern. I wish I would have taken a picture and gotten a name to give proper thanks. Your kindness did not go unnoticed and thank you for the junior ranger badge (hoping I'm not getting you into trouble) but that made the trip even more memorable. Thank you, kind sir for being so lovingly kind.

Thank you, Lynette Webber.Lynette led a fun and informative walking tour of the ghost signs in downtown Calumet. She was so friendly, spoke clearly, and offered a lot of insight to the great history of the area. She even threw in a couple jokes that made my partner and I really chuckle when others in the group missed it. I would definitely take any and all tours that she leads! Thank you Lynette for your vast knowledge and friendly demeanor!

Thank you, to those that are reading this. Please, do everything in your power to Save and protect all Wildlife, animals, birdlife, Trees, and Nature. We don't have much left on this earth, so we must all do our parts to protect the Sentient life, and the Eco-systems, that make them survive and thrive. Thank you, to all
