National Park Ambassadors

They maintain habitats, educate visitors, and preserve history. They're rangers, museum curators, engineers, volunteers, landscape architects, and fire fighters. They're the treasured stewards of our national parks. They're National Park Ambassadors.

Behind every national park is a team of ordinary people who are dedicated to maintaining the extraordinary. They may not wear capes, but they're heroes in our book. Meet the individuals who protect our parks and send thanks to an NPS employee or volunteer who made your last visit extra special.

Thank you, To the Dedicated People who make our parks accessible. In 2024 on a spur of the moment decision we decided to visit a national park. We live in very close proximity to the Redwoods and having grown up with the incredible beauty of a National Park surrounding us & we suddenly wondered what the other parks might be preserving . So my grown sons and I decided to travel to one. We packed up and drove to Oregon after work. The next morning we woke up and headed into the park. The emotional response from that first glimpse of Created Lake was life changing. It lit a fire that’s driving our plans to see every national park we can get to. What you are doing in preserving and protecting these places and making them available to the people of the planet is a gift to humanity that is nothing less than spiritual in nature. I’m so grateful to everyone who does this ! Thank you , you make life better.
