National Park Ambassadors

They maintain habitats, educate visitors, and preserve history. They're rangers, museum curators, engineers, volunteers, landscape architects, and fire fighters. They're the treasured stewards of our national parks. They're National Park Ambassadors.

Behind every national park is a team of ordinary people who are dedicated to maintaining the extraordinary. They may not wear capes, but they're heroes in our book. Meet the individuals who protect our parks and send thanks to an NPS employee or volunteer who made your last visit extra special.

Thank you, All park rangers, staff and volunteers .This note is really for all those who serve the national parks. Thank you so much! I have memories with my family I would never have without you. We raised our kids in scouting and have taught them to be good steward of the land, much of that is thanks to you all.

Thank you, All Rangers. To all the rangers in 2014 that were giving ranger talks.. I took my 3 grandsons to Yellowstone and the youngest, age 4 at the time, LOVED the ranger talks. He soaked that stuff in and at age 16 today still remembers them. The talks made a great impression on him and everyone was so awesome and deal with the boys questions, non stop. You do make a difference, even if you don't see the outcome!
