National Park Ambassadors

They maintain habitats, educate visitors, and preserve history. They're rangers, museum curators, engineers, volunteers, landscape architects, and fire fighters. They're the treasured stewards of our national parks. They're National Park Ambassadors.

Behind every national park is a team of ordinary people who are dedicated to maintaining the extraordinary. They may not wear capes, but they're heroes in our book. Meet the individuals who protect our parks and send thanks to an NPS employee or volunteer who made your last visit extra special.

Thank you, All.We have stopped and visited 14 National Parks on our across the United States journey. Every one we stopped at had park rangers and staff that went above and beyond to make our visit special. To be able to see the country and every park in their own distinctive way was a pleasure. Thank you all for a great road trip!

Thank you, Mark Hobson.I'll keep this short. In August 2024 we took a cruise down the coastal waters of Alaska. Gorgeous! Lotsa whales! But since we were on boats and didn't go ashore much I missed the chance to go the Visitor Centers of Kenai Fjords, Glacier Bay, and Wrangell/St. Elias. I love my Nat'l Park Passport, but I couldn't get it stamped anywhere. So I sent a letter, a donation, and a stamped return address envelope to all three Parks...and all three Directors sent me lovely Thank You cards and several dated stamps apiece. You folks are the best! I haven't visited all of the National Parks yet, but I'm working on it! Thanks for everything!

Thank you, All Ambassadors and Rangers.Thank you all for your hard work! We love our National Parks and forests and spend as much time there as possible! Thank you for all your hard work and keeping us safe! We've had too many adventures and stories all over the parks to name. You're the people we leave our hiking itineraires with and that we report to when we get back, and gives us advise on hikes and areas. All the good information has kept us from even needing to be rescued and allows us safe, fun, and numerous visits!

Thank you, All Park Rangers. In the past 18 months I’ve had the privilege to visit/hike/stay Arches, Canyonlands, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Mesa Verde, Great Sand Dunes, White Sands, Rocky Mountain, North Cascades, Olympic and Mount Rainier. My first stop is always the visitor center where the rangers provide invaluable information about the trails and conditions. Thanks to all the very knowledgeable and skilled rangers for preparing me for the priceless experiences!
